Sometimes the realizations serve to give a certain systemic framework to a sum of recorded events that have the power to establish links with each other, both by concrete sound searches, as for a gestural giving, performative, something rather related to the spontaneous.
"Registros" has its stylistic orientation. We could characterize it by the use of some specific sounds, by the way of facing the creation of rhythmic patterns (or avoiding others) but these are all issues rather related to a moment before the play, programming decisions, sound design, etc. . In these recordings materialized from direct takes, there are gestural aspects that accompany us during the listening of all the work; Unlike an abstract electronic of automated design programming, Vanidades proposes to approach and play with the possibility of the error that resides in the movement of the knobs, everything that sounds can be intervened by a physical movement that changes the parameters of a moment to other. From the structural mute / unmute, through rhythms flooded by reverberations, to the link between cutoff / resonance of a synthesizer to generate acid movements, everything is at the mercy of the spontaneity of the gesture. A veces las realizaciones sirven para darle cierto marco sistémico a una suma de acontecimientos registrados que tienen la potencia de establecer vínculos entre si, tanto sea por búsquedas sonoras concretas, como por un darse gestual, performativo, algo más bien relacionado con lo espontáneo.
"Registros" tiene su orientación estilística. Podríamos caracterizarla por el uso de algunos sonidos específicos, por la forma de encarar la creación de patrones rítmicos (o de evitar otras) pero estas son todas cuestiones más bien vinculadas con un momento previo a la tocada, decisiones de programación, diseño sonoro, etc. En estas grabaciones materializadas a partir de tomas directas, se encuentran aspectos gestuales que nos acompañan durante la escucha de todo el trabajo; a diferencia de una electrónica abstracta de programaciones automatizadas de diseño, Vanidades propone acercarse y jugar con la posibilidad del error que reside en el movimiento de las perillas, todo lo que suena puede ser intervenido por un movimiento físico que cambia los parámetros de un momento a otro. Desde los muteos/desmuteos estructurales, pasando por ritmos inundados por reverberaciones, hasta el vínculo entre cutoff/resonancia de un sintetizador para generar movimientos ácidos, todo queda a merced de la espontaneidad del gesto.
